Tyler Rose Garden

Sophie and I took our annual trip to the Tyler Rose Gardens last week. My sister and niece were able to go with us this year. It was mostly a good day except maybe a little hot (crazy Texas weather). It was definitely more difficult this year than last. Last year Sophie was very content to hang out in the stroller. Now she just wants to be out, running and exploring everything.

Family Portraits

A mom I know has started a photography company. You can check it out here. I wanted to get a portrait done of us before we went to China so I had her do it at a local lakeside park. You can see a few of the pictures on her blog. I got the proof disc today and I don't know how I'm going to choose which ones to get printed for framing.

Star Wars Build-a-Bear

When I was at the mall earlier this week, I noticed that Build-a-Bear has a limited edition Star Wars bear and various Star Wars costumes.  We took Sophie to make Logan a bear (and of course she made one for herself).



In addition to this Anakin outfit, we also got a Batman costume for the bear.  We also had Grandpa Mike over to help set up the bed in Logan's room.  Definitely getting closer and I can't wait!
