Yes, It's Snowing Again in Texas

It is really unbelievable. I go to put Wrangler out for the last time before bed and there is snow on the ground. Not a lot (maybe an inch) but still it's a white lawn. Sophie's has seen more snow in Texas in her short 10 months than I have in the 38 years before she came. Hopefully, it won't stick around too long.

Texas-Sized Snow Storm

Well, for Texas anyways. We apparently broke some records last night. Here at our house we got up to about 8 inches. We had a blanket of white when the dog woke me up at 4:30am (on the 11th). Here's where we were at about noon. It pretty much snowed all day, sometimes it was big, huge, fluffy flakes, other times you could barely see it.

Wrangler wanted outside all day long. I think its crazy how much he enjoys the snow.

To be fair, I made the Kitty Krew go out too. They did not like the snow!

It all started melting about mid-morning on Friday. The roads are now mostly clear, but the yards are still these beautiful white blankets.

Wrangler Loved the Snow

Here are some pictures of Wrangler in the snow on Christmas Eve.

He just kept running around and around.

Snow in Texas

Yes, it does snow in Texas! Not much and it doesn't usually stick, but it was still cold. I didn't really care about the snow, but Kelso loved it. The other kitties wanted to go outside until they felt the wet stuff on their paws. We actually had snow 2 days in one week. And in true Texas fashion we had 80+ degree weather within a week of the snow.
