What Was She Thinking!

Let's just get this straight from the beginning. As any child in the family will tell you, Dad Paul is a pushover. As any little furry four-legged baby will tell you, Mom April is a "SUCKA"! The local shelter sent out a plea for a foster parent to bottle feed some boxer mix puppies. Of course, Mom April to the rescue. They will be taking attention away from me for about 4 weeks. They are kind of cute, but Mom April won't let me play with them. Matthew named them Tom, Jerry, and Spike after his favorite cartoon.

Shaving Cream on Uncle Paul

When Matthew comes to play, Mom April lets him get out the shaving cream. He and Dad Paul had lots of fun drawing pictures and then things got crazy (as you can see from the pictures)! By the way, shaving cream doesn't taste very good. Take my word on that.

Going to the Beach

Matthew and Mom April went to the beach. They had so much fun splashing in the water and playing in the sand. It was very windy so there were lots of waves. There is a playground at the beach too and Matthew loved climbing all over it. They stayed and had a picnic lunch before coming home. Matthew must have had fun because he took a 3 hour nap!

Kirby the Bird

Matthew loves to get Kirby out of cage whenever he comes to visit. At first he seems a little shy with the bird but he soon warms up. Matthew says his favorite thing about Kirby is how he tickles you when he sits on your shoulder.

Nerf Guns with Matthew

Kelly and Matthew came for a visit. I love having him around...he chases me all over the yard. Dad Paul and Matthew set up targets and played with the nerf guns. I tried not to become a target.

Memorial Day 2008

Mom April and Dad Paul decided to go to the Japanese Gardens. I promised to be good and not eat the koi, but they wouldn't let me go. They seemed to have fun. The picture of Mom April is the same thing she does at 5 AM when I am trying to wake her up to play.

Mothers Day 2008

Mom April and I went to East Texas to help her sister pack. My job was to keep Matthew busy so they could do the work. He was a great kid all weekend! James made Kelly and Mom April breakfast this morning for Mothers day. He said anyone who has as many cats as she does deserves breakfast every once in a while. For lunch Dad Paul took Mom April and his parents out. Since it is also the 11th, they ate Asian food in honor of MIC. Although Mom April didn't get pictures with Matthew she did get some at the restaurant. Happy Mothers Day to all moms everywhere!
