Christmas Eve at the Walkers

Addison and Mason, Kaitlyn with her mom Cheri

Mom April said I could go to Grandma Noi's with them for Christmas. There were a lot of kids around. Mason kept trying to give me his roll at dinner. After we opened presents Dad paul couldn't wait to play with his new Xbox 360 and Guitar Hero. Pete and Paul were really jammin'!

Christmas with Grandpa Mike

Daisy loved her big giant bone. Apparently, she goes through dog toys like crazy, most don't make it past the first day. Looks like this one might make it a few days. Matthew loved his chainsaw. He loves to cut down trees at his lake house.

Christmas with April's Family

This is a shirt they bought me. It says Punk Rock Pooch. We had a lot of fun opening presents with all the kids. Matthew got an electric guitar and microphone from Grandma Susan. Levi and Maya would sing while Matthew strummed on the guitar.
After opening presents, we had dinner and then we played some more. Mom April says we get to do it all again on Christmas Eve!

My Favorite Little Buddy

I got to spend a few days with Matthew at the lake. I loved getting to run around and sniff all the new smells. Mom April wasn't too sure about the lake, but it looked nice to me. Matthew's dog Daisy didn't seem to like me much, but she sure did love all my toys and treats. Of course, she sometimes looked at me like I was a treat. Can't wait to go back to Hawkins!

1st Annual Baking Party

Mom April started a new tradition this year. She hosted a baking party inviting all the women and girls in the family to come over and bake up their holiday goodies. They seemed to be having a good time (I was stuck in my kennel most of the day). Apparently, Grandma Noi never did much baking so she learned a lot the guys went shopping while the girls baked. Grandma Susan made aprons for everyone including the little ones and even one for MIC.

Thanksgiving Trip to Missouri

April and Paul flew to Missouri for Thanksgiving with April's family in Farmington. The Kitty Krew stayed at home, but I got to spend the week with Grandma Noi, Granpa George, Tootsie, and Fat Amy. I don't know why, but Tootsie wouldn't play with me. Kaitlyn liked me but kept stealing my toys and giving me hers. Here are some pics from the trip.

Halloween Costumes

So Mom April decided that it would be cute to dress everyone up for Halloween. She had already bought the Kitty Krew their outfits, then had to go hunting for one for me after the whole auction incident. You decide who's the cutest!Kelso as Dracula
Wrangler as Elephant
Kellog as Dracula
KJ the Witch
Kumar as Pumpkin
Kudos as Pumpkin

Catching Up Pumpkin Patch

Okay, okay, okay! So I'm not great at this blogging thing. You try it without opposable thumbs. Anyway, here are some pictures from the Pumpkin Patch. Mom April took Hope and met Grandma Noi and Kaitlyn at St. John the Apostle UMC. She bought a pumpkin just for me. She tried to put me in after she carved it but I had grown too big. After the pumpkin patch they had lunch. That's when Kaitlyn really opened up.

The Krew suggested I explain how I came to be a part of the family. I was an auction item at a Fall Festival at April and Paul's church. April thought I was cute, but
Paul convinced her that they didn't need a dog. He then promptly started the bidding on me. April was near tears when she realized what he was doing. She calls me her "Hope Consolation Prize". Her favorite little blonde was moving the next week so April got a puppy to fill that void.

My New Family

These are my new "parents" April and Paul. My new family also includes 5 cats (the Kitty Krew) and a cockatiel named Kirby. We are anxiously awaiting MIC. Apparently, April and Paul want a baby from China (like 5 cats, a bird and a dog aren't enough). You can find her Blog at http://gladney.adoptionexperience.com/ family name WaitingforMIC. More to come on this very crazy family.
