Texas-Sized Snow Storm

Well, for Texas anyways. We apparently broke some records last night. Here at our house we got up to about 8 inches. We had a blanket of white when the dog woke me up at 4:30am (on the 11th). Here's where we were at about noon. It pretty much snowed all day, sometimes it was big, huge, fluffy flakes, other times you could barely see it.

Wrangler wanted outside all day long. I think its crazy how much he enjoys the snow.

To be fair, I made the Kitty Krew go out too. They did not like the snow!

It all started melting about mid-morning on Friday. The roads are now mostly clear, but the yards are still these beautiful white blankets.

Elvis Gospel Concert

I took my nephew to see an Elvis Gospel Concert at a local church. We are both Elvis fans, and we had a great time. Kraig Parker was Elvis and boy was he good! You can check him out here. He did mostly gospel, but did sing a couple of the rock tunes, including one the standards where Elvis gave out scarves to the swooning women. Levi thought it was hysterical to see all these old ladies go up to get a scarf. He also did a couple of contemporary worship songs in the Elvis style. I am so glad we went.

My Niece Olesya

My sister Monica came by today to pick up some clothes I had for Olesya and also to get some of my mom's canned goods. Sophie and Olesya haven't really gotten to spend much time together until now. Sophie is about 3 months older but about the same size. she actually got jealous when I was holding Olesya. I guess she's been learning a thing or 2 from Wrangler.

Wrangler Loved the Snow

Here are some pictures of Wrangler in the snow on Christmas Eve.

He just kept running around and around.
