Meeting the CCAA Directors

We had a great time at Los Vaquearos having dinner with staff from Gladney, adoptive parents and kiddos, and directors from CCAA. Due to traffic we got there late and didn't get to visit as much but Sophie was a huge hit. After dinner, she spent her time being passed from one Chinese man to another to have her picture taken. I am so thankful she she is so easy-going. Although the director over adoptions in the Province Logan is at wasn't there, we did get to meet the man who heads up the entire CCAA agency. We feel very lucky that we had this opportunity, most adoptive parents would never get this chance.

Happy Birthday, Ethan!

Our nephew had is official birthday party today. He cleaned up on Toy Story 3 stuff (and no duplicates). Sophie was in need of a nap so she was fussy during lunch until we had cake, but loved seeing all the presents.

Ethan was nice enough to let her try out his new motorized vehicle. I think Grandma will be getting her one for Christmas!

Birthday Brunch

Since the cousins were all in town, Paul's older brother decided to have a mini birthday party for their son Ethan who is turning 2. Sophie loves birthday cake!

Cousins Visit

Paul twin brother and his family came into town for a visit. Sophie had lots of fun playing with all her cousins at Grandma's house.

Grandma has a trampoline and Sophie thought she could jump so high!

Chicken Butt

When my sister was little she used to ask "Guess what?" then respond with "Chicken butt!". I have no idea where it came from or what it was supposed to mean but lots of laughter ensued. After Paul put Sophie in the car today, this is what I saw...
