We didn't get a picture with Matthew because he had another birthday party to attend before his. It was also at Chuck E. Cheese. Here's Kalyn with Logan and Sophie.

Matthew's Birthday Party
My nephew had his birthday at Chuck E. Cheese this year. I'm sure his mom would have preferred a different location but apparently this is all he wanted. Paul had to work but luckily had Grandpa and Maw Susan to help with the kids. Birthday Boy
Being just a tad shy!
Once Grandpa got there I sent him with Logan a cupful of tokens to explore. Logan loved trying everything.

Sophie really wanted on this but then I think she got a little bored with it.

Dyer Playdate
We had our friends, Jill, Noah and Emmy, over for a playdate this week. Both Sophie and Logan were completely smitten with Baby Emmy. We think Logan must have helped to take care of the younger children in the orphanage. He is so helpful. He even gave Emmy her bottle.

Here's Sophie giving Emmy Love a little bit of love!

Both kiddos are fascinated by belly buttons. Just a warning...this could happen to you if they happen to see yours.

The kids had fun playing together and part of me wishes I had taken more pictures. (Truthfully, Jill took these.) But I have really enjoyed my time with the kids this week without worrying about finding the camera. It was nice to just let the kids play and have some conversation with Jill, too. Can't wait for the next one with Hope included!

On the Twelfth Day of Christmas...
my True Love gave to me...
no more Laundry (at least for a week).
I did the last load of laundry after dinner. I have done at least one load every day since we got home from China. Yes, that's right, people, 12 days of laundry. Now for those of you who choose to do a load a day, you're thinking no big deal. But most days I did more than just one load. And I was doing a load on Christmas day (otherwise Paul and I would have been pant-less on the 26th).
I hope your 12 Days of Christmas was as special as mine!
