I can't believe I didn't get any pictures today, and we looked so cute in our red, white, and blue. Paul's parents met us at church to get Sophie. They wanted to take her with them to a friends for lunch. After church, Paul and I went to see Karate Kid. We both really enjoyed it, and it made Paul really excited about going to China. He also said it was the first time he really missed Logan.
After we picked up Sophie at Grandma's, we came home to play before going to dinner. We wanted to take Sophie to see fireworks, but knew that the lake was going to be crazy crowded. There was going to be a fireworks show after the baseball game, but there was no way Sophie would be able to sit through a game. Instead, we went to the restaurant across from the ballpark, had dinner, let Sophie play on the playground, ordered dessert to go and watched the show from the playground. We were on the road before the game traffic got too bad. We will definitely do this again. Great idea!
